The whole adventure was organised so so well. It was so amazing not having to think about anything thanks to Alex and Sherry. Alex brought the group together and is an absolute joy to have as a leader. He is so calm, kind and easy to get along with! He always put the groups safety first and made a special effort always to ensure we were all looked after and content. Sherry is another joy, she has an amazing way about her and her constant good mood is a joy to be around. Both leaders just gave constant positivity and they made my time in the Philippines even more amazing.

I was worried as my tour was canceled twice due to covid. But my tour was Great. As I traveled in second week of January. Phillipines was in Hangover of Christmas Holidays. My hotels were nice with good breakfast. Lunches in tours were delicious. Our agent

I enjoyed the tour a lot. It was really cool. As some of the previous travelers have written, it’s not a group tour, but you basically travel on your own with CTPH making all the travel arrangements and telling you when to be where. What I liked in particular: - swimming with the whale sharks in Oslob. That was just amazing! However, you should be aware that the whales are fed which alters their natural behavior. So it’s a little bit morally questionable. - Canyoneering in the Kawasan falls was also really cool - snorkeling in El Nido - Overall, Marisa was very responsive and helped with all my questions. Thank you! - all transportation was always on time and pretty well organized What could be improved: - communication through the TourRadar platform prior to the trip was a bit complicated. Response times were super long, some questions never got answered or only after several reminders. But as soon as I had Marisas number it was fine. - I wish that there was a bit more information about the trips for the upcoming day. They only tell you when you will be picked up and where you go, but not what to bring and so on. It would be cool to get some more informations, such as “you first go in the van for 3 hours, then there is a snorkeling trip, afterwards you can change, then there is another two hours drive, etc. Bring swimming gear and insect repellent”. Of course, you can google this and do the research on your own, but it would just be awesome to get it hands on from CTPH - The Hotels were all ok. The Spin hostel in El Nido was cool, but the room itself a bit smelly and dark. The Golden Phoenix Hotel in Boracay was nice, but the staff at the reception was super unfriendly! - The day trip on Boracay was a bit weird and all over the place. We went to one super touristy beach, then went snorkeling without snorkels, then had to wait for some people going on a banana boat, then did the ridiculous helmet diving and afterwards visited another island. There was just too much pressed in and not enough time at each spot. I guess there are better tour options. Like a boat trip around the island with proper snorkeling and without the additional fuzz. Some tips for the travelers to come: - In El Nido you can do the Via Ferrata Canopy Walk on the first day when you arrive. It gives you some nice views over El Nido - you can rent GoPros at the beach in Oslob if you want to take underwater pics of the whale sharks - on your free day in Boracay you can go for a dive. There are plenty of dive shops and you have more than 24 hours after and before your next flight. I recommend rather go for a real dive than for the helmet diving option. What an amazing experience! Would definitely do it again! Will be bringing my friends back to do this short adventure in the near future. My guide Jody was one of the best guides ive ever had whist travelling around the world. His English and humour was great, especially since I was a solo traveller with him. The guest houses were better than I was expecting considering they're in small villages, though still very basic, and had the opportunity to meet other travellers along the way! The scenery and landscapes were beautiful around every corner. Uncharted Philippines organised my trip with short notice since I only booked a few days out but everything was looked after, the information they provided was detailed and perfect.

Just finished the 10 days Philippines tour carried out by Do You Travel. At the beginning, when we figured out that most participants in our group of travelers are single and/or much younger than us, my wife (62) and I (68) thought we had comitted a mistake selecting this trip. The itinerary, the organisation and, above all, very positive group dynamics proved us wrong! We think the biggest merit for this goes to our tour guide Jovain Orlina! We were observing this young man handling complex organisational issues and even more complex (inter)personal challenges with remarkable ease and with passion at the same time. He had a nice word for everyone, open smile in every situation and he managed to reach full identification with the group as a whole. Jovain became part of us. He resolved all problems with skill and dedication. He made us feel relaxed and confident, he opened our hearts and, together with other members of the group, created relaxed mood throughout the tour. Some distracting events like, for example, overall disatisfaction of one group member with the tour, Jovain dealt with patience, in wise and thoughtful manner. However there is much room for significant improvement of one important aspects of the tour. Accomodation could and should be better! The food was for the most part ok, but some selected hotels were not even able to serve a decent breakfast. Rooms were small and in some cases not very clean. Overall, great tour, great group and excellent guide made us enjoy this trip a lot. The best part of the tour was a 3-day cruising expedition from El Nido to Coron on board of Tropical Paradise 7 boat. Excellent cook, skillfull, discrete and attentive crew made us feel thrilled and safe. This was a memorable experience, indeed. Thank you Jovain, thank you Do You Travel. ????
