It was a great stay, I would come back again. Easy to communicate with the owner. Everything is well explained on how to do your own check in and with very useful tips about de city. The breakfast available is great. Easy to reach from the train station (Utrecht Vaartsche). Very cosy garden/terrace.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Appartement in de Pastorie. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short and pleasant walk from the city center, yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood that feels like a retreat from the bustle.
The apartment itself is beautifully restored, blending historic charm with modern comfort. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, from the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen. We especially loved the little terrace—perfect for a morning coffee or a relaxing evening.
Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, offering great tips for local spots and making sure we had everything we needed. The free on-site parking and fast Wi-Fi were also big pluses.
If you're looking for a stylish, quiet, and convenient place to stay in Utrecht, this is it. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

If you want to visit a city that has no lack of natural attractions like the canal or the botanical gardens, then Utrecht is a spot I can highly recommend. I stayed here for 8 days and honestly I did not want to return to my home country.
My favourite spots were defiantly the canal and Botanical Gardens because I have a massive love for anything nature based and these were two spots that spoke out to me a lot. There was also an Astrological museum my friend took me too close to Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn which was also on my list of favourites but I have forgotten the name of the museum unfortunately.
One of our meals out was at a lovely little Italian restaurant on the Utrecht Canal which served a very tasty Spaghetti Bolognese and the view made the food taste better.
Whether your walking or cycling, Utrecht is very easy to travel around, but make sure to always have a bottle of water at hand.

Utrecht is a charming and vibrant city with a perfect mix of history and modern life. Its canals, historic buildings, and cozy cafes create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The city feels lively but not overwhelming, and it’s easy to explore on foot or by bike. A perfect destination for a relaxed yet inspiring getaway.

The most important thing about Utrecht is the general atmosphere of the city. There are no attractive museums or special attractions. The city is probably best known for the former warehouses along the canals, which have now been repurposed as restaurants.

A good variety of places to visit, with tours in excellent English.

Utrecht is a medium-size city well located in the center of Holland. It has a very modern, clean railroad station and the Dutch train system is very efficient, reliable and reasonably priced. Our apartment is near the historical center, where most everyone uses a bicycle and cars are restricted, making walking through the charming neighborhoods a real pleasure. The DeHaar Castle and grounds, about 20 minutes by car west of the city, reminided us of the beautiful Loire Valley chateaux in France - a very pleasant day trip.

Very roomy and comfortable summer (all season actually) house with all equipment you need. Just like home. Much bigger than expected. You can park your car next to it. Only 20 minutes walk from Utrecht city centre, but the nearest bus stop is just „around the corner". So are shops and a petrol station if you need them. Easy access to motorways. Good contact with the owner. There’s always somebody to help if you need. They speak english (it looks like everybody speaks english in The Netherlands ;) Beware of cyclists;)
Excellent location, a stone's throw from Utrecht Centraal and the old city centre. The room was spacious enough for two people and had all the needed facilities. Comfy beds. Coffee machine and tea + Earth water provided. Cool interior design. The staff at reception was friendly and professional, even in the middle of the night. At just below 60€ pp per night this was one of the best hotel stays either of us has ever had, and we will definitely be back the next time we visit Utrecht.
The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for both the railway station and the city centre. Although the hotel has no breakfast room, croissants / coffee / orange juice were available in the lobby, and in any case it was just a few minutes' walk to some very nice breakfast venues (Teds, Toastable and the spectacular Bunk).
This is a very good hotel located very close to Utrecht Central station and hence perfect for travelling around. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of the attractive city centre in Utrecht.
Excellent breakfast buffet with a wide variety of choices.
A comfortable hotel in Utrecht’s attractive historic city centre with friendly and helpful staff. Our stay was a great pleasure. The restaurant was excellent. Many thanks.
