The city is a beautiful city with parks and lights at night. Lots of cafes and restaurants. They have lots of cultural things to do museums etc, They have sporting events and music events. The town feel safe to roam around in. It was easy to drive into and get around in. We had a wonderful breakfast at Cassis. We will come back again.

John's Village Pass is enjoyable. Nice shopping. Beaches, sunset is nice. The food is great at most restaurants. I will not visit this area again unless I buy property for it is expensive for accommodations. Hubbard's fishing is always good.

We took in a trip to an interesting museum. We walked a bit. I have a business in St. Petersburg and love the atmosphere and people and their effort to make it into a destination city as well as their old beachfronts. Living part-time in central Florida the traffic in St. Pete is stupendous. Coming from New York City, there is "no traffic" here at all. We live in Tampa, and came across the bay for a Staycation. While in St. Pete we visited the Enchant Christmas event being held at Tropicana Field. Parking is sometimes scarce and expensive in St Pete, so the location of the Hollander Hotel and the free parking it offers were quite welcome. It is an easy four-block walk down to the restaurants, shops, and museums along Beach Drive and they even offer a shuttle if you need it. St Pete also offers a trolley that loops around downtown and takes you down to the Dali Museum / Mahaffey Theater area. This was our second stay at the hotel, and we will stay again in the future.... the 2024 Major League Baseball season will be here soon, and the Hollander Hotel makes a great base of operations for your visit.

Downtown St. Pete is walking distance from the hotel and for the price you can’t beat the vintage luxurious atmosphere. I also loved that it was a nice secluded staycation for me and my husband.
