The only problem was that after the first 4 days, I noticed that the AC was not adequately cooling the room. That was my last night in the place. I brought the matter with the staff so hopefully they have done something about it after I checked out. Otherwise the place was very comfortable, clean and convenient. I can not give a review about Queens because I stayed in a place in Queens. My hotel was located in a Chinatown in Queens with a lot of tourists and locals. Poorly maintained property.
Poorly maintained property. The window shades do not close and one has to sleep with the light peeping in. There was a water outage on that day and simply a note was pushed under the door that "whatever you want to do with water you do it before 8 am". After 8 am complete water was shutoff. Breakfast was bad, they never filled the food trays after the guests finished consuming. The Juice dispenser was out of order. The room was badly furnished, carpet was old and the room did not smell good either. Paying $300 for a room here is a loot for a mediocre property. We stayed in downtown Flushing, Queens.
We stayed in downtown Flushing, Queens. Plenty of excellent Asian eateries and shopping. Getting around is easy. We took the LIRR from Flushing Main Street to Penn Station in Manhattan under 30 minutes. From Penn station, one can walk or take the subway one stop uptown to Broadway or downtown to SOHO, Chinatown or Wall Street.Guest review byHenryUnited States - 6.0

We just slept in the hotel there. The hotels in Manhattan and close by were too expensive or had awful reviews. This one in Queens looked nice but we never went anywhere in the area except to walk to the subways and back. The hotel was a 15 minute walk between either 33 St Rawson St and Hunters Point Avenue Not much to see of any interest on the way to either of them. The odd deli or petrol station.
