Great Gold Coast location. We traveled with our dog and it was very easy. The room had a basic kitchen that made it easy to stirecabdcregeatvkeftivers and keep a few drinks. Valet parking was great though a bit pricey with tips, but the convenience was worth it

FAQs about hotels in Chicago

Our Kind of Town

Standing proud beside Lake Michigan, Chicago is down-to-earth, friendly, and full of culture. It has outdoor art by famous artists including Chagall and Picasso, and there are some fascinating architectural works from the Art Institute of Chicago.

Home to blues and house music, Chicago has an eclectic music scene that reflects its spirit. The Windy City is also a pioneer in a variety of Americanized dishes from it's European immigrant roots like deep-dish pizza and the Chicago hot dog.

The world’s first skyscraper and Ferris wheel were erected in Chicago. The latter, on Navy Pier, is one of the Midwest’s most visited sights. Also famed is the ‘L’ transport system, whose raised trains circle The Loop, the main business district. Check out its skyline reflection in the shiny bean sculpture in huge Millennium Park.

Home of the Bulls and Bears, Chicago is a stronghold of sport and has teams playing baseball, basketball, American football and hockey, to name a few. If you get a chance, try to catch a game.

Chicago Midway and Chicago O’Hare Airport are both on the outskirts of this vast city, so make sure to leave enough time for travel from your Booking.com hotel, apartment or hostel. And all that jazz.

Our visit to the Chicago Loop was unforgettable!

Our visit to the Chicago Loop was unforgettable! From stunning skyline views and historic architecture to vibrant street life and iconic spots like Millennium Park and the Riverwalk, downtown Chicago had it all. Every corner offered something new— bustling shops and scenic walks. An amazing blend of culture, history, and energy—we’ll definitely be back! We started our day having brekfast at the Starbucks Roastery and ended our day trip with sumptuous dinner at our fave Jollibee fastfood!

Ignore the negative comments about Chicago!! Chicago is beautiful, safe, lively, has tons of restaurants and bars, and has tons of family-friendly activities. Some out of town friends compared Chicago to a European city with the relaxed pace and beautiful views.

Best things about Chicago - Art Institute and other museums - Restaurants - every meal in a local restaurant has been memorably good - the cinnamon rolls at Ann Sather's will change your life - Architecture! Take tours! So many excellent buildings. CTA trains are navigable but not necessarily oriented to tourist - checking for info about trainlines and such on internet makes CTA must easier.

So much to see there beyond a deep dish pizza, and this...

So much to see there beyond a deep dish pizza, and this obsession with food masks some real magic. It is so hard to get around that I'd consider getting digs out of town a bit and hire a car, but the public transport is OK and the trains a bit of fun. It is very expensive everywhere, and almost impossible to figure out the other fun bits like the ferries, park activity, what is closed off for the holidays and what is not, getting salad and vegetables and don't start me about the coffee. It is safe enough and the beggars not that intrusive and most of them sophisticated. Overall there is a lot to see and if you do your homework the most fun in a living museum that I have had for quite some time. The great lake is ignored, despite its formidable qualifications. There is effectively no way to get around on it and you need to drive to the zoo and botanical gardens and places that ferries could reach better and with more fun. I could advise Chicago on how to be a five star vacation journey and I do love it but would do things a bit differently.

The hotel is located in a very convenient area of Downtown Chicago in North River. The hotel is located across the street from a Subway station providing easy access to the main areas of Downtown and other locations such as Wrigley Field and Soldier Field. The room we had was very spacious and generally quiet (for a downtown hotel). Housekeeping were excellent providing us with fresh towels every day and offered to change the bedding on more than one occasion. Staff in general were friendly friendly and helpful

Room and view were awesome. Quietest room I've ever had - never heard another door close or neighboring room's conversation. Beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept very well. View on the 30th floor towards the water was beautiful. Perfect walking location to starting line of the Chicago Marathon. Food and drink selection was really good at the hotel. Great convenience store Bockwinkel's around the block for cheap meal options and to stock up on cheaper staples.

Great boutique hotel in Downtown Chicago, just 5 min walk from the Navi Pier and the beach, as well as the Magnificent Mile with all its skyscrapers, bars and restaurants. The beds are comfy, the staff are friendly and helpful, it's very clean, the AC is working. Keep in mind as it's central location, the streets are loud and you can hear the emergency services sirens in the rooms, if you're a light sleeper.
