The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Although the breakfast could hve been a little better for the amount you pay per person it was still enough for us. The location was great as we were centrally located to everything and the nearest beach was in walking distance.

Very clean large bathroom. Large selection for breakfast. Room very well soundproofed. I could not hear my neighbors next door at all. Nice roof terrace with view over the Eixample Esquerra area. This is part of the chain Hoteles Center, which includes the fabulous 5 star Casa Fuster in BCN, so the Center hotel must be under similar management? The hotel is close enough to the main shopping street Passeig de Gracia. The ample pizza menu in the bar/restaurant is a great idea as who doesn't like pizza? Price was right considering many BCN hotels have raised their prices post Covid. Christof at reception was very pleasant.

We stayed relatively long in the hotel (8 days). The Room: Initially I booked a standard Vincci Room, but since my plane arrived earlier, the only option in the morning was an upgraded Superior Double Room, which I opted for to not waste a time (on top of that got a breakfast too). I can tell you that the difference between Vincci Room (purple) and Superior Double Room (newest, brightly colored) is startling. If you have a choice/funds to upgrade to the newest room - please do so. When I briefly entered a standard purple Vincci Room it felt dated and not up to notch. Some people may like it, but for me considering how much did I pay - it was a no-no. Plus the price difference was not extreme. Newest room (Superior Double Room) we stayed in was super comfortable, clean, bright with nice design and everything you need. Windows faced the playground and it was always lively hearing kids playing football/basketball. Shower and toilet were great too. The only issue was a bar fridge which was barely working, however it could be a setting issue. Cleanliness: Everything was very clean. Every day we had our room cleaned, towels, sheets and everything else changed. Perfect. The Staff: On the reception everyone was extremely helpful from the day one. I would like to highlight Nora and Jaquin (apologies if misspelled your names) for assisting with absolutely everything we needed. Jaquin provided a map of authentic restaurants which we followed day-by-day and it gave us the real flavor of Barcelona, while Nora managed all transport/organizational queries efficiently. The Breakfast: We were very happy to buy breakfast on arrival proposed on reception, since it was a very good quality, plus selection was very wide with lots of cheese and meat. Croissants, fruits, tea, coffee, deserts, eggs - you name it. Lilia and Dharani were super friendly and attentive to us and other clients.

Great city and I'm so glad we stayed in the Gracia neighborhood which was less touristy, but also within walking distance to many iconic sites and neighborhoods. Food was incredible, and lots of good food near Generator. After 3 days I was ready to move on to a smaller beach town. Highlights were eating, walking around Gracia, Sagrada Familia, and Mercat de la Llibertat.

Barcelona is one of the world's great cities.

Barcelona is one of the world's great cities. If you go only for the Gaudi architecture, you will be richly rewarded, and there is far more than that. The city has an old European feel and is great for walking. Taxis are easy to hail and are reasonably priced. Food from bakeries, cafes, and restaurants is generally excellent, and inexpensive by the standards of the East Coast of the U.S. and most of Western Europe. Note: If you want to visit the interior of Sagrada Familia, order your tickets online at least two weeks in advance.

This is our 2nd time to Barcelona and we were there now for a cruise so only spent 3 days before and 1 day after. It's a great city with lots to do. Hop on Hop off bus is recommended in order to get an idea of the city - it's too large otherwise. Be careful - we are very experienced travellers but did have an incident - Gothic quarter can be dodgy so just beware - we thought we were but still happened. Go to the Market just off Ramblas - it's AMAZING

Great city with something for everyone. The people were very friendly and it was a good city break with the beach there if you wanted an easy day. The food was amazing, the restaurants never disappointed with the food being fresh and tasty. Barcelona is huge so be prepared to walk a lot but there are buses, taxis and the Metro so there is no problem navigating round the city.

This hotel/hostel was just great for a quick trip to Barcelona! Super comfy, clean and modern room, with a person to receive us and hold our keys at reception 24/7, great security, and a nice common area. The best part is the location - it's in a super nice and quiet part of the city, but close enough to walk to the center, super close to the main streets of Barcelona, and super close to the bus stop to the airport. Couldn't have asked for better!
