What an amazing view…. Just wow! We had a birthday and the staff was ready to greet us for our celebration ✨ Fabio and his other worker were super attentive and coordinated our late arrival since we had lots of delays so we really appreciate his effective communication 🫶
As far as the stay…. It’s VERY central and you really cannot beat this view! You can walk literally anywhere and most main Florence interest points are right downstairs. 👌
Walking up in this listing was magical everyday. Our group stayed in the penthouse unit and had the Murphy bed and it was nice we could put it up during the day. So great for those who need two beds and a kitchen. Amenities were great from having the elevator to confortable beds and soft towels.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this listing! Thank you for hosting us ☺️🇮🇹

The entire staff was wonderful. The breakfast was good. They even packed our bkfst to go since we had to leave at 630am. The rooms were clean and nice. Shower pressure was awesome. They have a patio courtyard we enjoyed time there as well. It was nice to have coffee in the room.

The check in procedure was seamless. We got a taxi from the train station then walked to the apartment which was only a few blocks away. We were pleasantly surprised that we were right opposite the Piazza Repubblica which had lovely restaurants around the outside. Our apartment/room was spacious and comfortable. An added surprise was a complimentary continental breakfast each day with a coffee ☕ machine. It was so easy to walk everywhere from there.

Avoid taxis if you can as they can run away with a lot of your cash and prices are variable due to unscrupulous taxi drivers.

The best thing is that you can walk everywhere… walking and stopping for a food, walking and stopping for a drink … it’s nice to get lost in the small side streets. Hugo Spritz or Negroni are the recommended cocktails. And, of course, homemade pasta : it’s difficult to find a not good one :-)
You must be prepared for crowds though, everybody wants to see the same.

Florence is amazing - the history and beauty of the buildings and art are phenomenal. However, I would not recommend going in June. We based our trip around my grand-daughter's school schedule and so had to go in June. It was very hot which made the trip hard. We knew it was going to be hot and dealt with it, but if you have a choice, go another time.

Beautiful city!
Beautiful city! Personally I think il Duomo is far more spectacular from the outside (although I didn't climb the dome) whilst la Basilica del Croce is far more spectacular inside, only 10 mins walk away, no queues and famous tombs such as Galileo Michaelangelo, Macchiavelli... So much to see and do, felt safe and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the opera themed concerts I attended in the evenings in beautiful church buildings! Very easy to be vegan!

Everything about Florence is amazing, but I felt robbed when trying to exchange money at a currency exchange office. The fees were extremely unfair—a 19.99% rate plus €9.99 per transaction! Be aware that once you hand over your money, the deal is considered final—even if you change your mind a second later, they won’t return it. I strongly recommend checking Google reviews before using any exchange office to avoid this kind of experience.

It’s one of the best houses where I stayed in Italy! It’s in the very beautiful territory where you can feel the Tuscany nature despite the fact that you’re in a city. The house is very beautiful, spacious and clean. There are so many small details that make you feel that you’re home and not in the hotel! The owner is very friendly, helpful and nice person. The house is good connected with the center of city, and it’s not far. For us it was a pity that we booked it’s only for 1 night, we would stay there more!
Alessandro is the kindest man you’ll meet in Italy! I am a study abroad student, so I wanted to book a place near the city center for my family when they came to visit. Their stay was perfect, and the breakfast was great. From start to finish, the experience at B&B Dell’Olio was AMAZING. I will make many trips to Florence in the future and will book here each time!
This place is fantastic! In the city center of Florence, the rooms are full of history and well renovated. The bed was incredible with a super nice top mattress, it looked like a 5 start hotel. the host Chiara was super kind and help to let become this vacation one of the best we ever had. Highly recommended!!!
Best airbnb we stayed in Italy, clean, cozy, beautiful, modern and Manuela was very welcoming and made an amazing Italian breakfast and recommended many great places to see in Florence😊
