The outo rikshaw driver/ Shop keeper do not understand Hindi as well as English, they only understand local language, felt very uncomfortable communication with them. For medical purpose Chennai is good and for others I totally disliked.

I would avoid taking taxi next time as public transport is still perfect in chennai. Getting around in taxi and auto is faster in this city. You can take a walk even in the night as people are respectful towards fellow human beings.

Chennai is a huge, noisy, dirty city with horrendous traffic and very few tourist attractions. We only stayed there for a night at each end of our trip as we flew into and out of Chennai airport. I wouldn't bother spending any more time there than is necessary for transit to be honest.
The moment I entered the hotel, it was nothing but a time shift back to the 1900s, it had 2 massive courtyards and the rooms were simply fabulous, I had taken a deluxe room with a private bathroom, and the bathroom was a huge one with a neatly maintained closet and floor. I spent a day inside Broadlands exploring multiple places inside (There is a lot more to explore). If you are visiting Chennai and want to stay at a great location with utmost peacefulness, then Broadlands is the place for you.
when I was 15 years boy my father took me to savera hotel for the first time and to attend a function. To show my wife the surroundings i took her after 45 years to see the grand old master in hospitality business in chennai. though property is a very huge in terms of lobby, restaurants, parking some have the property failed to impress me especially the rooms wore a pale look. furniture is simple than budget hotel and a low lying cot ay add the complaints list.
The hotel was clean and modern. Chennai was our first stop in India.
The breakfast buffet was superb, with many local options and western options as well. Restaurant staff were attentive and help with any food inquires we had.
The roof top bar/restaurant offers amazing views of the city and has fantastic food.
The front desk staff were helpful in guiding us to local banks, cell phone stores and shopping.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this villa in ECR with our group of friends. It is very clean and tidy. Check-in process was smooth. The property owners Gokul & Viji waited for us to arrive and took us on a quick tour of the property. Their suggestions on beach side restaurants to try was amazing!! Internet connectivity is good. We had a very comfortable stay at this villa. Will stay again next time!

The hotel is located in the prime hub of Chennai and can be accessed from all places of the city with ease. Stayed for very short period due to travel restrictions but we had a very good time at this place. I had a confirmed reservation but was denied room. I had even made a partial payment towards my booking. I had to undergo a traumatic night since no rooms were available for that night stay. Eventually I had to stay paying 18000 Rs. in an expensive hotel in ECR. Very poor service from the hotel, OYO as well as Booking.Com.
The Location of the Hotel is very good. Being on the ECR road, It has very good access to the beaches of Chennai. Quite close to the IT Hub if Chennai and the Rajiv Gandhi IT Expressway. The Hotel and its facilities were superb. Very secured Parking, Clean Rooms and Washrooms, No disturbances.
This hotel is close to the Chennai MGR Central Railway Station and Nehru Stadium. I was able to watch a football match and walk back to the hotel in 5 minutes. It's about a few more minutes to get to the train station. The hotel is generally clean and it is acceptable for a short stay.
As always the stay, food, service, pool, room, everything at this hotel was excellent. This stay was made more special by the view from the room. We could see a large part of the city sky which was lit with firecrackers for diwali.
