    This book was amazing and I could not get enough of it. I loved every second of this book and I will definitely be reading it in Erica's perspective. I'm also definitely checking out all their other books I have a few saved up that I'm dying to pick up.

    Let me tell you I was beyond angry at everything Erica went through and was done to her. I'm honestly so happy she found Natalie whom not only loved her unconditionally but accepted her exactly the way she is not to mention helped her figure herself out.

    I honestly fell in love with their relationship, how genuine and how the balance each other out so well. The two of them go through so much together while dealing with everything Erica deals with and goes through with her secret and not a secret of her own but a secret that was forced on her at the age of five and only after meeting Natalie 25 years after the accident does she overcome and beat her dark past and even then it'll take her a few years more before she can confidently become comfortable once she figures out who she is. The fact that Natalie not only stays with her when others would have left makes me so happy. The book deals heavily with body dysphoria and figuring out ones identity and preferences.

    I have no complaints with this book and there isn't one thing I didn't like about it although I'm going to be honest lol Sherman drove me off the wall but I gotta say that one scene with the aunt was so satisfying 😂 I don't want to spoil it but I nearly screamed out YESSSS at 3 in the morning and yes I stayed up late a lot reading it and I will re-read it later on also I'm going to beg my friend to read it.

    Loved the book, especially the climax, I really felt like I was in Paris. I also compared it with Speakeasy, written by Agnes Hagadus where the main character was named Eric/Erica. Both business men, both had a twin and of course both had a secret.

    Bound is written in contemporary time while Speakeasy takes place during the time of prohibition. Loved both stories. Both fell in love with their employee and both had intrigues, spies, and mayhem.

    Bound was nicely written and edited, a little too erotic but we have to remember that Eric is a strong man. Therefore, he loves just as strong. Read it, and I will repeat there is treason, mystery, secrets and lies. However, all is good in the name of love.

    This was a unique and original story for me. I've never read a book where a daughter was forced to live as a male when her twin brother died when they were ten, and her father wouldn't let her take over his company in the future as a daughter. It was quite a bet more complicated than that, though. The story was told from the other MC's perspective, and her life had its own complications to add to the mix.

    It was fascinating to read how the authors wrote a character that had to deal with their own duality after deciding to remain living as a man, or sacrifice the family empire and affect its numerous international employees. There were secrets and some espionage, passion and erotic romance, and some unusual circumstances where difficult choices by both women had to be made. I was absolutely enthralled, and it was the most intriguing book I can ever recall reading.

    What I mean to say is - this is a real piece of literature. It has a complex and interesting plot. There are real characters to favor or not. It's not an ideological screed but a true ringing tale of human need. The authors extract the quintessence of love and romance, often tongue in cheek, and portray the perseverance of a persuer lover in pursuit of her authentic object (i.e. Freudian) of enduring love laced with the libidinous energy of our species, shorn of rat trap postmodernism of gender and the political rubbish that ruins any current discussion of our species. Here, as Newman said: Cor ad Cor loguitur," which is why I'm genuinely partial to emotionally mature lesbian stories.

The horror of the life Erica is forced to live when her father decides she must be the son he needs to take over his empire. A chance to survive and share love is only a remote possibility. The story of Nature vs Nurture is told thru the eyes of Natalie Chen, a lowly intern, in the web that time has weaved. Marvelous performance. Recommend.

    While it was definitely a new type of story it just didn’t do I for me. There was this whole build up of secrets and plots and infiltration then it all does on a bridge in Paris. I feel like if you’re going to tackle a hard subject matter such as this then it shouldn’t be convoluted with all the extra stuff. Also the relationship of Erica and Natalie sort of fell flat.
