For me Gothenburg is a city that lacks Swedish identity.
For me Gothenburg is a city that lacks Swedish identity. It was hard to find genuine Swedish restaurants / pubs in addition to there being not much history on show (despite a rich history based on what is on show in the city museum). There is still plenty to do in terms off attractions but alot of these can be done in any city. We went to a lot of the museums in the city which were not expensive and offered a great experience for my young family. The cafes and restaurants around the city were clean and well kept with plenty of fresh food on offer. I want to visit Gothenburg again.
I want to visit Gothenburg again. It has lots of character and its people are very friendly and helpful towards visitors. We ate well there: Iranian and Scandinavian food. I particularly liked the Solrosen Café, a long established vegetarian restaurant in the old Haga area of the city. We loved Gothenburg! Coming in on the bus from the airport, the city felt very large but in fact it was surprisingly compact and easily walkable. It’s a lovely elegant city with wide streets and beautiful historic buildings. It also has great shopping and some lovely restaurants and cafes, serving all tastes. There are a lot of sites to visit around the area and a lot of good food to go through. If you are looking for a budget-friendly itinerary, save enough for your museum and site visits! Our three day itinerary was enough to explore the famous sites and walk around the city however it would be best to really take your time and breathe in the city. Our group enjoyed the Botanical Garden and Universium a lot, and if you are looking for an enjoyable visit, try going for Lisberg. The city is filled with museums that you can visit too and almost all of them are near each other. My group enjoyed walking around the city and enjoying the architecture and nature as a whole, if your into this then 3 days is more than enough!Guest review byAlvaradoHong Kong

Someone put alot of love and class in this place. Kitchen and bathroom was clean. Bed was comfy. This is the cleanest hotel apartment we have ever stayed in. There is no personale to meet you, and it does not matter, because everything is perfect.
